I am currently recruiting for a company based in Cambridge who are a well established market leader with a prestigeous customer base, who are seeking an Accounts Administrator to work in a well placed Cambridge office.
You will be reporting to the Managing Director and the successful candidate will be responsible for all accounts functions.
You will be responsible for:
•The production of timely, monthly management accounts
•Cash flow forecasts
•Credit control including limit appraisal and enforcement
•Processing fortnightly payment runs
•Annual budget preparation and quarterly reforecasting
•Processing purchase and sales invoices
•Monthly project cost reporting and P&L reconciliation
•Processing expenses and credit card transactions
•Upholding current KPI's and introducing new insights
•Preparing the quarterly VAT returns
•Purchase and Sales Order processing
•Ad-hoc administrative duties
You will need:
•A proactive self-starter who thrives on seeking improvements within the company
•AAT Qualified or studying towards
•Experienced with Sage Line 50 Accounts
•Possesses strong attention to detail
•A self-motivator with the ability to work alone
•Experienced at producing management accounts
•Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
This role is well suited to someone in a practice looking for their first commercial role, although practice experience is not essential. This is a lovely opportunity and the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with 20 days holidays + bank holidays!
