 Finance Assistant                                    £20,000 - £22,000 (8 month FTC)                                  Solihull                    

Experienced Finance Assistant needed within one of the most rapid growing construction and infrastructure services within the UK. Main Duties of the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Assisting with month end processes
  • Supporting the regional finance team – helping with transition period from COINS to ORACLE
  • Complete cash reconciliations to the shared service centre
  • Help and support upcoming projects
  • Monthly house sales reservation fees
  • Assist with the house sales and completion statements and postings
  • Provide information for regional business units
    Provide information to external and internal auditors
  • Ad-hoc duties for management

To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant you will have:

  • Solid previous financial experience and a understanding of the processes involved (Property expereince desirable)
  • A knowledge of software packages – Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of the accounting software Oracle would be desirable
  • Have to ability to question and implement changes to improve processes
  • Ability to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent communication skills and developing and maintain relationships
  • The capability to work as part of a team
  • Superb organisational and time-management skills
