Our client is a highly regarded firm of solicitors & advisors who provide a full range of legal services on a personal and professional level. They have a great opportunity and are currently looking to recruit a Conveyancing Administrative Assistant to help support their busy residential property team.
On a day to day basis, your role will include:
· File opening
· Taking phone calls and assisting clients where possible
· Photocopying, post, and filing
· File closing
· Requesting searches (purchase files)
· Post-completion matters (final searches, preparing letters, TTs etc., for completion)
· Registrations
· As the Assistant progresses and becomes more confident in the above tasks, the role will grow to encompass the following:
· Preparing and issuing Contract packages
· Dealing with enquiries (sale files)
· Checking search results and reporting to the client on the results (purchase files)
· Acknowledging and checking mortgage offers and reporting to client (purchase files)
· Exchange of Contracts (Sales and Purchases)
· Providing quotes
