Are you looking for a new and exciting Sales opportunity within fast paced, world class organisation with a long history and an exciting future? This role will be field and home based. The head office is based in the Solihull area.

This global organisation offer a great opportunity to grow within the business as well as being part of an existing sales team. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling solutions to customers within the UK and Ireland as well as maintaining existing relationships within a given portfolio.

As a Business Development Manager you will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Delivering Sales solutions against objectives
  • Up selling and offering new solutions to existing customers
  • Coordinate daily activities with the sales team within the UK and Ireland to ensure seamless customer interaction and high customer satisfaction.
  • Support with marketing activities to make sure they are achieving the best results
  • Support with market analysis and competitor analysis to keep up with market trends

To be successful in this role as a Business Development manager you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Must have proven experience within a high level technical sales role where you are selling solutions
  • Account management and business development experience
  • Strong commercial experience preferably within the automotive industry
  • Technical background and knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation skills as well as a strong business acumen
  • Self-motivated with an enthusiastic manner and a passion for selling

As a Business Development manager you will be on the road for 2-3 days per week dependant on location and for the first 3-6 months you will be based at the head office in Solihull at least twice a month.
