Salary £35000 - £40000 per annum Sector Oil and Gas

Due to a record breaking 2018 one of the leading providers of operational service to the onshore oil, gas and utilities sector are looking to expand with the appointment of Control & Instrumentation Project Engineer to join their Midlands based office on a permanent basis.

As the Control & Instrumentation Project Engineer you will ideally be degree educated within this area and have at least 3 years relevant experience.

The main purpose of the role will be to manage the execution and coordination of projects whilst providing the provision of specialist consultancy services associated with Oil and Gas pipelines and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide project control from initial approval to commissioning and handover.

Prepare project plans and programmes to ensure work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and client satisfaction.

Ensure agreed man hours and cost targets are adhered to through effective projects and financial control.

Seek to enhance the project fee where possible.

Provide appropriate engineering designs in accordance with relevant company, client, national and international standards.

Prepare contract documentation for procurement of services and materials.

Skills and experience:

Degree educated or a minimum HND in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic engineering.

Knowledge in the appropriate engineering discipline in the design, project engineering and consultancy in Oil and Gas pipelines.

Relevant industry experience within Oil and Gas or associated industries.

Computer literate in normal office software applications.

Valid UK driving licence.

The package:

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000

25 days holiday + bank holidays

Annual bonus - 8% of base salary
