We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller for a growing and dynamic business situated in modern offices in Theale. This is a permanent position and it will be 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. The salary is £26-£30k per annum plus a bonus of £3k

Key Purpose:

The Credit Controller primary function is to collect and reconcile invoices and credit notes owed to the company, to manage customer accounts, ensuring that new customers have healthy credit and that existing customers have settled monthly accounts in a timely manner.  You will also work closely with the Sales and Customer Services Teams to make sure orders are released daily and new release shipments deadlines are met

Job Tasks & responsibilities: 
  • Collection and allocation of payments
  • Reconciliation of account
  • Resolve any Short Payments in a timely manner
  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
  • Provide Management Accountant with updates for cash flow with expected receipts
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Process adjustments
  • Monthly statements
  • Work with our chosen credit insurer to ensure we comply with all provisions of the insurance policy
  • Communicating with customers via phone, email
  • Plan and work towards quarterly KPIs
  • Releasing of Promotion Credits once Customer information has been received and advising the Customer of the Credit Note
  • Liaising with Sales Team
  • AOB within Finance
 

Education and Experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedure
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications
  • At least 1 – 3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
