Deputy Manager
We have a new opportunity for a Deputy Manager to work in a lovely nursing home in the Reading area. The home is in beautiful condition and offers a variety of facilities and a full programme of activities to its residents. It is set in well-maintained grounds with a range of outside areas for residents and staff to benefit from .
As Deputy Manager you will need previous experience of this post in a similar setting and a commitment to providing elderly residents and those with dementia with quality person centred care. You will have excellent people management skills as well as a proven track record of ensuring clinical quality assurance and safeguarding. As Deputy Manager you will be a key member of the Senior Management team and work closely with the Registered Manager, deputising for them in their absence.You need to have an updated knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and their practical application and be proficient at all aspects of management. A 'can- do' attitude is required with a flexible ,professional approach. Proven ability at stakeholder engagement is a must. The ideal Deputy Manger for this role will have an NVQ level 5, with a minimum of a level 3.
The role is supernumerary Monday to Friday and the salary is up to £40,000. You need to be flexible around doing spot checks on the night shifts and at weekends as well as overseeing additional projects as and when required.
