Position: Financial Controller / Finance Manager
Location: Lindley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Package: Excellent Salary / Remuneration

E3R have a unique and exciting opportunity for a qualified/part qualified Finance Controller/Manager to work closely with the Directors of the business and the current Payroll/Operations Team out of our head office in Lindley Huddersfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who wants to be part of a fast-growing independent engineering recruitment business with forecasted turnover of £23million by 2022.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all E3R's financial management systems and lead a small team whose work underpins all of E3Rs Finance, Payroll and Credit controls functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Statutory returns and preparing year end accounts for accountants
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing sales and purchase ledger
  • Managing automated payroll systems which processes c200 payments per week
  • Managing a team of 2

Person Specification:

  • Ability to own and deliver the entire finance strategy,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised with a very strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and independently
  • Adaptable and able to succeed in a changeable environment.
  • Able to multi-task
  • Proven experience of building excellent relationships with diverse and challenging stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Proactive approach, able to work on own initiative, with a can-do attitude
  • Personable, impeccable manners and good at persuading and influencing.
  • An ambassador for Finance and integrated in the business
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing work processes.
  • Self-starter, ability to act creatively, drive change and solve problems.

Essential Key Skills:

  • ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
  • 2 to 3 years relevant experience with a key Finance Role
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
