Health & Safety Advisor – Up To 37k + Company Car/Van + Fuel Card + 21 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays + Pension Scheme

Principal People are seeking a Health and Safety Professional to be part of a successful business that focuses on Groundworks and Civil Engineering Projects across the Midlands. With multiple live sites covering approximately a 50 mile radius of Birmingham this is a fantastic opportunity to expand your experience and grow your career within Health & Safety within a profitable organisation that holds a strong pipeline of work moving into 2021.
Working with some of the most recognised construction businesses, this company works on exciting and diverse projects and are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor that will have autonomy and be a trusted member of the business. We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative team player who holds passion and enthusiasm for Health & Safety.
Key responsibilities of this Health & Safety Advisor include:
- Conducting site audits
- Building relationships
- Delivering Toolbox talks
- Attending site and office meetings
- Liaising regularly with site teams
- Enforcing policies and procedures
The successful Health & Safety Advisor will hold:
- NEBOSH General or equivalent
- Full UK Driver’s License
Beneficial criteria for the Health & Safety Advisor are:
- Training qualification or experience is highly desirable
- Temporary Works Coordinator
- Experience within or certification of NRSWA / 278 Works
- Experience within Groundworks, Civil Engineering, Utilities or Similar
In return the successful Safety, Health and Environment Advisor will receive 30k - 37k + Company Car / Van + Fuel Card + Pension Scheme + 21 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
