Salary: £30'910 basic salary, plus over time, tools, ppe, pension.
Hours of work: Days, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, plus ad-hoc overtime
The successful HGV mechanic will be carrying out maintenance and transport related services to companies fleets in the North Eats, working on a variety of vehicles ranging from small car derived vans to large Trucks (tippers, tankers, and box trailers)
As a HGV Mechanic you will be preparing these vehicles for annual test to VOSA standards
To be successful in this HGV Mechanic vacancy you will be:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship
- Have a minimum of three years experience
- Trained to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or above as a HGV Mechanic
- Proven skills in vehicle fault finding and diognoses
- a history of repairing a variety of vehicles
- HGV License
- VOSA Training
In return you will receive an annual salary of £39010 per year, with a guaranteed increase of 2% in the first year.
Overtime, pension at a competitive rate, 23 days annual leave per year, plus statutory bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 29 days (again plus stats)You will also have the option to buy up to 5 days annual leave per year.
