Infrastructure Manager, Kidlington, £45k - £50k plus benefits:
A leading Managed Services Provider based on the outskirts of Oxford is looking to recruit a IT Infrastructure Manager to work in their client's stunning rural office location. Leading a dedicated team of IT Engineers covering cutting edge hardware, software and infrastructure technologies, you'll provide technical leadership and strategic technical advice to this company which consists of 11 UK sites and over 600 users.
A team player with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. You will be responsible for providing 3rd line technical support, as well as managing a team of 3rd line support technicians as well as supporting and driving the companies IT strategy. The role will also include the delivery of a programme of project work which delivered by the 3rd line team.
The successful Infrastructure Manager will be required to have significant infrastructure & IT security experience and have a proven track record in problem solving and resolving complex issues and experience in researching and developing solutions. You will be well versed in industry trends and have a real passion for delivering excellent customer service to customers.
Key skills of the Infrastructure Manager:
- High technical ability and experience of 3rd line is essential
- IT Security experience is essential
- An advanced understanding of SCCM and VMWare is essential
- Experience supporting a thin client environment
- Strong diagnostic skills for PC hardware, software, system administration, server and network infrastructure
- Strong leadership skills
- Good written and oral communicator
- Monitor and report on projects and SLA targets
- Project Management skills
