We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our client as they continue to grow in their next phase of expansion. You will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager, be responsible for the day to day management of the companies Finance Assistant and you will have lots of support from the wider business to ensure your success.

Day to day as the Management Accountant you will support in all financial processes but specifically be responsible for producing management accounts. This will include working with all department heads to discuss, agree and implement an annual financial budget. Once agreed and insitu you will then on a monthly basis monitor and discuss departmental budgets, pull each individual department information together to enable the preparation of monthly management accounts reports and analysis in relation to the annual overarching company budget that was set for delivery at board meetings this information.
As part of the role of the Management Accountant you will be heavily involved in payroll, pensions, monthly accruals, forecasts, pre-payments, VAT returns and maintaining the fixed asset register. You will oversee financial transactions, liaise with the wider team within the organisation on any financial matters or queries and support with year-end and audit preparation.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience of Quickbooks, who has been at a Management Accountant level previously and who is comfortable with preparing management accounts without too much hand holding. Full training will be given in terms of the company and their processes but we do need someone with significant experience to come in and take control of this area of the business' accounts.
If you are an excellent communicator, can build relationships with others with ease, are comfortable dealing with sensitive and confidential information, can multi task and prioritise workloads efficiently and is someone who always meets deadlines then we want to hear from you!
