An opportunity for a Project based Mechanical Technician to join a Global Business, that manufacturer's high value metals and machined components for the aerospace and oil and gas markets.
Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Project based Mechanical Technician on a permanent position.
Opportunity to join a billion dollar company, who's largest market is aerospace and defence, particularly jet engines.
They offer an unparallel service in producing nickel-based alloy and titanium-based alloy powders for use in next-generation jet engine forgings and 3D-printed products.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
*To understand complex Mechanical systems, be able to diagnose problems, perform safety & quality risk assessments and effect repairs quickly and safely.
*Utilising the clients maintenance management system for generation and management of maintenance schedules. Technical Support for breakdown activity / Collate breakdown data / information and input into the system.
*Involvement with key continuous improvement activities and project work.
*Reviewing of working procedures and Other document Review.
*Issuing Permit to Work to defined standards.
*Ordering of Critical Spares via approved routes - Management of sundry items.
*Coordination and Management of contractors on site.
KEEN TO SPEAK TO :
*Mechanical Technicians with project based experience.
*Engineers with experience running highly effective predictive and preventative Maintenance systems.
*Office based Mechanical Technicians with hands on experience.
*NVQ, ONC, HND, HNC, C AND G qualifications holders in Mechanical Engineering.
THE OFFER :
*Initial Salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum.
*Regular Days , 08.30am to 5.00pm.
*33days paid holidays.
*Bonus Scheme, paying up to 10%.
*Up to 7% Pension Contribution.
