Salary £25k - 30k per year Sector Payroll

An immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Administrator with in depth knowledge of pay legislation has arisen in Farnham to cover a 9 month maternity leave. Using Iris (previously known as Star) this Payroll position is working as part of a team within a busy payroll bureau. Salary £25-30K depending on experience.
Key responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator includes;

  • Run payrolls as requested
  • Check payrolls run by another operator
  • Answer telephone, send email to clients
  • Respond to queries from clients and Payroll Manager
  • Process pension payments
  • Filing FPS, EPS Returns and payroll documents

The ideal Payroll Administrator will need;

  • Be available immediately and willing to commit to a 9 month fixed term contract
  • Solid and current knowledge of pay legislation
  • Excellent knowledge of IRIS (previously known as Star)
  • Fast and accurate inputting of data into payroll software
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Confident verbal/written communication skills

This role would suit a genuine flexible team player who is able to work to deadlines with ease.
Hours 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday 1 hour lunch break
