Working for a well established ambient food manufacturer in the heart of Staffordshire as a Quality Analysis technician you will be responsible for both chemical and physical testing within the plant.Based in the village of Knighton which is easily commutable from Market Drayton.

2 days , 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern 6am – 6pm.
24 shifts holiday (including bank holidays)

Testing of products including organoleptic evaluation against reference samples, chemical and physical testing is undertaken using both internal and external testing facilities.
Carry out GMP & fabrication audits, hygiene swabbing and internal audits etc. as per the relevant schedules.
prompt investigation of customer complaints.
collation of routine samples for submission for laboratory analysis
Compiling and verifying external test results.
Conducting start and end of life shelf life evaluations.
Skills & Experience Required:
Relevant food industry experience or qualification in relevant subject area i.e. Food Science, Food technology.
Food Hygiene Level 2
Internal auditor training.
Minimum of 3 year previous experience in a Quality role working within a food manufacturing / processing environment
This position will suit candidates that are or have been a quality auditor, quality technical and have food or fast moving consumer goods experience.
