Sales Administrator required for a long haul logistics company .
This is a busy varied sales administrator position , the ideal candidate will have strong experience in writing Bids and tenders .
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Processing and Administration
" Act as first point of contact and filter for sales enquiries
" Coordinate sales enquiries at each step of the end to end sales process from enquiry through to the point of order processing ensuring adherence to agreed customer and company KPIs:
o Obtain core details to qualify lead using templated questions
o Establish KPIs in consultation with subject matter experts
o Log in MI and CRM including capture of agreed KPIs
o Send holding email to customer detailing timeframe for response
o Coordinate further pre-qualification with SMEs including requesting credit check via accounts
o Prepare draft quote for review by SMEs and final approval by SLT
o Submit quote to customer in line with agreed KPIs
o Accepted quote: obtain purchase order, confirm details and pass to operations to proceed to order purchase process
o Rejected quote: establish reasons
o Update CRM/MI, diarise follow up actions, allocate account owner and close off any outstanding issues
" Make sales calls to current and lapsed customers and in pursuit of customer related backloads
" Administer company presence on procurement platforms including daily monitoring & escalation for prequalification of tender opportunities
" Coordinate the completion of bid/tenders/RFI/RFQs: collate input from appropriate stakeholders for final approval by SLT and submit within timeframe.
" Provide administrative support to Head of Sales/Sales team in management of company customers: meetings, minutes, reports, KPIs, SLAs, contractual obligations, contract renewal, new opportunities
" Administer full suite of sales tools templates: maintain a system for review, document control, filing etc.
" Coordinate marketing brochures & supporting sales collateral with outsourced marketing department
" Support Head of Sales/sales team with preparation of MI for internal sales meetings including building monthly sales report, tracking and recording of KPIs, customer satisfaction measures etc.
" Manage Sales team calendar: coordinate sales/customer meetings, appointments etc.
" Develop & sustain effective relationships with internal (colleagues/team/operations) and external (customers)
" Manage Company CRM information ensuring it is kept precise and real time.
" Continuously develop an awareness of marketplace, industry, customers & product specific regulations/compliance sufficient to support Sales process and team
" Coordination of customer satisfaction surveys
" First point of contact and main liaison with external marketing agency
" Coordination of marketing campaigns
" Coordination of content marketing e.g. social media updates
Salary £ 25-35k dependant on experience
