Salary £26k - 28k per year + OTE £43,000 (uncapped) Sector Call Centre, Sales

A (genuinely) market-leading construction data business providing thousands of companies with sales leads, contact data, CRM software and market intelligence for the UK construction sector. 

Its reputation is built and maintained by its dedicated in-house team of market researchers who create and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant information providers across the supply chain, including government departments.

The Team Leader will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager, driving the team to achieve revenue and KPI targets across data and advertising brands.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Help in delivering team renewal targets and associated KPI’s
  • Help in achieving set KPI’s and identifying areas for development
  • Assist ongoing coaching with individuals and the facilitation of group training where required
  • Conduct monthly 1 to 1 review meetings with individuals
  • Manage the team in the Sales Managers absence
  • Provide support to Client Managers as part of the negotiation process; calling customers, sitting occasional customer meetings
  • Maintains weekly list of opportunities and updates whiteboard figures
  • Support accurately forecasting figures, reporting figures and sending daily highlights
  • Manage and coordinate the cross sell pipeline for the team
  • Coordinate automatic renewal process
  • Assist in recruitment and induction of new employees
  • Undertake performance management where necessary
  • Help to manage external reps diaries to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Foster a positive and proactive working environment
  • Suggest improvements to current processes and help to manage changes within the team

Knowledge and Experience

  • Personnel management experience
  • One to one coaching experience and skills
  • Customer account management / revenue generation
  • Consultative sales skills and experience
  • Good negotiation skills and good closing skills
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport whilst communicating internally and externally
  • Good IT skills Microsoft Office package
  • Planning/time management/self-organization and self discipline/highly motivated
  • Confident on the phone and willing to make proactive telephone calls / sit face to face meetings
