Senior Health & Safety Manager - £45k-£55k plus a Bonus, Company Car or £5k Car Allowance, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a 9% pension scheme based in Birmingham
Principal People are delighted to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Health & Safety professional seeking a progressive opportunity with a key client of ours and a nationally recognised Principal Contractor. With the chance to work on a prestigious rail project this is an opportunity for a Health & Safety professional to further their career within an established Health & Safety team.
Working on sites from London to Birmingham, the successful Senior Health & Safety Advisor will play an integral part of Health and Safety performance across a substantial project within the rail industry.
This site and office-based role will be reporting directly into the Divisional Health &Safety Manager and you will be developing internal policies and procedures. You will also have the opportunity to guide Health & Safety professionals and advise across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities of this Senior Health & Safety Manager include:
- Implementing ISO management systems
- Working with project teams to review and implement construction phase plans
- Undertaking accident investigations
- Auditing suppliers
- Collating data and presenting Health & Safety reports
- Supporting the business within tenders and bids
The successful Senior Health & Safety Manager will hold:
- Experience within Rail & Live Track
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Full UK driving licence
In return the successful candidate will be entitled to up to £55k + Bonus + Company Car or £5k Car Allowance + Fuel Card + 28 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 9% Pension Scheme.
