We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager for our clients based in West Bromwich

Overview:

Due to continuing growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Technical Sales Manager to join one of the UK’s leading earthing, renewable and lighting protection material suppliers.The company prides itself on delivering a high quality service with the customer satisfaction being central to all processes. The successful applicant will report into the Managing Director, and will hold an important role within the company.

Responsibilities:

This is a very specialist role and as a Technical Sales Manager your main duties will include (but not be limited to):

● Overseeing and management of the cable jointing, termination and accessories side of the business

● Handling all elements of supply chain, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained for the most popular inventory items

● Providing expert advice to the sales teams in regards to leads and generated enquiries

● Providing continual training to the sales team on new products, market conditions and competitor movements

● Generation of new business and growth of existing business

● Managing accounts to achieve targets and drive results

● Outlining and describing technical solutions

● Developing and maintaining customer relationships to further sales targets

● Identifying new and existing business opportunities and evaluating their position in the industry

● Order processing

● Attending sales meetings

● Cold calling for new and existing business

● Up-selling and cross-selling products

Requirements:

To be considered for this role proven personal organisation and stakeholder management skills are essential. The company are particularly interested in speaking to candidates with previous experience in a similar role. Due to the importance and nature of the role the following key skills and experience are essential:

● Hold a full driving license (Imperative due to the nature of the role)

● Self-motivated and target driven

● Demonstrable sales experience

● Aware of the confidentiality required in the role

● Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday – 8:30am to 5:30pm Friday – 8:30 to 4pm
